Living in Punta Prima
Punta Prima is the northernmost part of the Orihuela Costa, right on the Torrevieja boundary. The coastal path runs from here south towards La Zenia and Cabo Roig, so you can walk the coast for kilometres. Torrevieja town is five to ten minutes by car, Zenia Boulevard a similar distance the other way, and there is a local supermarket and restaurant strip along the main road.
Buying in Punta Prima
Most stock is apartments and penthouses in gated complexes with communal pools, plus some townhouses. Frontline sea-view units carry a large premium over second- and third-line ones. Because many complexes are dominated by holiday lets, read the community minutes (actas) for the last few years — they tell you about disputes, arrears and planned works. Punta Prima is administered by Orihuela, not Torrevieja, so IBI and padrón go through Orihuela council.

Renting in Punta Prima
Strong winter-let market and a steady supply of long lets, though year-round contracts on frontline flats are rarer because owners can earn more short-term. Complexes a few streets inland are where 12-month rentals are easiest to find.
